Review by Vicki L. Tussing for Choosing Life: One Day at a Time Rating: As a widow I have been having a hard time even wanting to live. The title of the book caught my eye then I noticed it was written by Joel Osteen's Mom, Dodie Osteen, who is also a widow. I figured "Why not give it a try?"

It has been a delightful way to start each day -- quick, easy reading, and thought provoking. I have used other daily devotional books in the past, but none has met my needs the way this book has.

There are many family members and friends in my life who love the Osteen's. Choosing Life is the perfect Christmas gift and wedding gift
for those you care for with it's gold binding and beautiful paper.

The journal is a perfect companion to the book. It allows you to reflect more on topics and keep track of your thoughts. I read the book at home and then listened to the CD while I was driving around town, they reinforced each other.

This is one of the books every Christian needs to read. Like "The Purpose Driven Life" it will change the way you live, if applied to your life.
